A woman can dream, can’t she?
A wise and mature Christian lady once shared that she thinks it is not a good idea to ask kids what they would like to be when they grow up.
She said that she thinks it makes them assume they should be in charge of this decision when they really should seek Father God on what He thinks is direction they should take.
I totally agree with her. But strangely, the more I seek God on what direction I should take, the more it looks like I was made to fulfill those dreams that were left behind long ago.

Tell me a story, Daddy
Yesterday, I went for a talk about why brands should tell stories. According to the expert, stories help people to identify with each other. Unlike an advertisement which sells products, stories build relationships.
A few months ago, some one pointed out to me that Jesus uses parables to teach. My friend was trying to convince me that it is important to tell stories. I merely thought he meant stories can really help explain complicated things.
Looks like there is more to it than that. Let’s tell stories! Let’s build relationships!
Do you have a story to tell? I am trying to think of one myself.

Sunday Sharing? What it’s all about
Before we go on with Sunday Sharing, I feel I should provide a brief introduction to how it started and what it is all about.
About a month ago, I attended the ATRIA Bloggers Unconference. It was great to meet up with so many others who are passionate about the exact same thing.
Ideas kept flowing that night but nothing concrete came out of it yet.
A week after that, we met up again. This time, as we discussed the ideas further, we saw how all these ideas could become one fun bloggy project!
One person suggested writing about honoring our earthly fathers. Another one suggested starting a collective blogging effort. Yet another mentioned blogging on Sundays. Before we knew it, Sunday Sharing was born!
Hui Ling wrote a brief introduction to this group project on her blog. Do hop over to read her full post. She wrote,
And as Father God is honored, so fathers on earth must also be…
Perhaps we should set aside a little of Sunday time every Sunday to remember our fathers and bless them in prayer…
In short, Sunday Sharing is an opportunity for you to honor your father on earth through your blog. Starting next week, a new topic that’s related to honoring your father will be posted on this blog.
All you have to do is write a post in your own blog that’s related to the topic provided. Do be open to share your experiences, desires and hopes.
What do you think? Do drop a comment to share your thoughts.
